Mexico looked to have been enthused by the United States’ defeat to

Panama earlier in the evening and Jaime Lozano’s side were clearly eager to get on the front foot

Mexico looked by far the better team in the first half and they

After halftime Jamaica began to fashion more openings but they

were often the result of individual talents, rather than any cohesive play. They pushed for chances in the final 10 minutes but Mexico put the game to bed late on when Roberto Alvarado finished a simple chance
